Please consider this page as a growing resource for big ticket items such as home ownership, life insurance, college education, vehicle ownership, weddings, financially planning a family.  If there are big ticket items which are not listed here but which interest you, please give us a shout in the comments and we will do our best to research the topic and present to you our findings.

Also please be generous in sharing your story with us as this allows us to all expand our experiences by giving us insights as to how others have navigated these issues in their own lives.

Here is the current list, clicking through brings you to another page on this blog with deeper information or our collecting pool where you can share with us, encouraging us to move forward on the topic being discussed:

These are the topics we have come up with, please keep in mind that we are not financial advisors, lawyers or real estate professionals.  We do believe in being informed and this is what drives us to share with you.  Please use these resources, contribute to them and grow in understanding of your personal financial situation so that you can boldly join the ranks with your fellow frugal hackers.
