Save Money
Living frugally means living responsibly while keeping an eye on where your dollars and cents flow. It does not mean, however, living impoverished or stingy, although it can mean to "live below your means". Regardless of how intent and careful you are with your finances, you are bound to come across some big ticket items which for whatever reasons cannot be avoided. For some this may be a car, for others, a family home.
Please consider this page as a growing resource for big ticket items such as home ownership, life insurance, college education, vehicle ownership, weddings, financially planning a family. If there are big ticket items which are not listed here but which interest you, please give us a shout in the comments and we will do our best to research the topic and present to you our findings.
Also please be generous in sharing your story with us as this allows us to all expand our experiences by giving us insights as to how others have navigated these issues in their own lives.
