Another Sale!

Posted by: DL on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

Placing my credit card back into my wallet, I consider how close I am to the end of Youngest Son's homeschooling journey.  This item now paid for, will herald the start of our new year (and the last year) of this wonderful and challenging time of our lives.  I am grateful that Grandson has been born and I will get to taste homeschooling as a grandmother!

Realizing that there may be many frugalhackers still in the midst of this homeschooling journey, I thought I would share another Vision Forum sale in hopes it may be a blessing to those still seeking curriculum.  If gas prices have made attending Homeschool Conferences a challenge for your family, Vision Forum is offering conference sale prices on their website! This is another incredible sale with up to 60 % off over 300 products!

Please let me make clear that I am a Vision Forum affliate (because I so appreciate the products they sell).  If you should choose to go through these links to place your order, my grandmother fund will benefit.  I do so appreciate those in the past who have done this for me.  However, my main purpose in alerting you to this sale is for your benefit.

This is an excellent sale and I suggest you may want to take a look!  Here are a few of my personal recommendations:

Into the Amazon 4 DVD series, has just been released and would be an excellent complement to a study on South America.  The Jonathan Park Adventure Series is my favorite source for teaching science and Creation in a fun way.  The Body of Evidence Collection (8 DVDS and a Study Quide) which explores human anatomy and physiology from a biblical perspective looks great!

Soldiering Through History:Civil War and Soldiering Through History:Revolutionary War now both come with Study Guides.   Seargeant York and The Great War would be an fascinating addition to any study of World War I.  If World History is on your mind, check out The History of the World set components: A.D. and B.C.

The Children's Music Masters Curriculum provides an excellent overview of classical music and composers.  The Classical Music Curriculum Collection provides another option and comes with Study Guides.

Making Brothers and Sisters Best Friends is such an asset to family relationships.  There is now a coloring book which can be used by younger children to help reinforce the principles in the book. Oh, and just for fun, let me suggest The Runner From Ravenshead. Produced and created by a homeschooling family, this DVD is a delight!

My recommendations are only a few of the marked-down treasures on the website.  Sale ends at Midnight, June 25. Hope you find what you are looking for!
