NerdWallet - Works to teach readers how to use credit cards as tools, and through their credit card search, they want to make sure readers can find the right tools, rather than taking whatever the card companies or scammy credit card sites give them.   NerdWallet focuses on non-sponsored credit cards, which you never hear about because they don’t pay affiliates. This helps frugal users save money because they can get hundreds a year in extra rewards versus one of the commonly advertised credit cards. [editors note: Frugal Hacks doesn't normally accept credit card sites, but this one seems very different.  What do you think?]
