I kind of enjoy being snowed in as long as it’s not for too long and as long as I am prepared. It sounds like you were well prepared and enjoyed it because of that.

Sadly a lot of people freak out when snow or heavy weather hits.

I still remember being a kid and the only choice for fun was to be resourceful. We had Nintendo and all, but it was getting outside and using our imaginations that were the best times. Glad you got to feel that again.

We rarely get snow (every few years…we’ve had actual accmulation once in the last 12 years), but I need those “snow days” sometimes! Sometime soon I’m going to try to fake one…can’t go anywhere, no school, no nothing! except a good book and cozy blanket on the couch. And some of those cookies:)
