I would like to hear more about this. I have always wanted to do something like this. I have so many cook books that I don't even feel right buying a new one!

I HIGHLY recommend The Freezer Cooking Manual from 30 Day Gourmet (30daygourmet.com). Recipes that use everyday ingredients are featured - all have passed the test of their families. It's an EXCELLENT resource and really helps to stretch your budget. We like to buy meat at its lowest price, then prepare multiple meals using that ingredient!

Something else you might look into is http://onceamonthmom.com/ She basically outlines a months worth of meals each month with all the ingredients and instructions. The ingredients are enough for two families of four each. The process is meant to be done with a cooking buddy and you each come away with your share of it at the end of the day. I wish I was able to do this right now because it would make my life so much more simple. Good luck with your project. :)
