What an inspiring story! We're still about $35,000 in debt, but we've been in a consumer credit counseling program for 1 1/2 years, and will be out of debt (except mortgage) within the next 3 years. My husband makes just $28,000 a year, and I homeschool. We've got medical expenses too that caused us to get into so much debt in the first place. Our story is so similar to theirs, and I'm so excited that they were able to do it, and I know we are on our way! Thanks for sharing.
