Christmas Cards
One or two Christmases, back in the days when we were not on speaking terms with our income because we had not been properly introduced, I repurposed the Christmas cards we'd received the previous year and resent them as post-cards.
You carefully tear or cut the front of the card off from the rest (the card you use has to be the right size, of course). Write on the back just as you would on a postcard (draw a line down the middle, address and stamp on the right side, short note on the left). Do it properly and nobody can tell what you did, unless you make the mistake of sending the same card back to the sender, but that's so tacky that I am sure none of our readers would do that.
Your cards won't all be the same, but this way, all the people on your list gets a different card, and you can personally choose the right card for the right person.
The postage for post cards is also cheaper than for regular mail.
For another fun idea on a craft using old Christmas cards, see this post on our blog.

I cut out the shapes and glue ont cardboard that I pick up for free from the local printers (just go in and ask for any offcuts) and add a bit of the kids glitter glue. Brilliant!! And ‘handmade’ is soooo in, it’s not frugal, it’s trendy. I laugh to think that the rest of the world is starting to catch us up
