With Christmas coming I have put together some free printable Christmas cards, they are really easy to make. All you need to do is download the free Christmas Card design of you choice print and then fold. Yes, it's that easy and save yourself some money as well! - My bloggy friend Heather has a tip to get more functionality out of inexpensive bookshelves:
Remember the mdf "oak" bookshelves from Staples online that went on sale last year & you posted them in your blog? Well, our family took advantage of it, and got six new - and needed - shelves for our home. We found them to be quite satisfactory except for one thing - they really could use just one more movable shelf apiece, as there was always one really tall shelf on each set, that wasted valuable book storage space.... The solution? Contact paper! We found that you can purchase rolls of it in almost the exact pattern as that on the shelves (makes you wonder just a bit...) so, we bought 12" x 1" plywood, cut it to fit the bookcase, held our tongues "just so" while sticking the stuff on the shelves, and voila! Matching, slightly sturdier extra shelves for our bookcases! You can't quite wrap all the way around each shelf with a single length of contact paper - the "grain" of the wood pattern runs lengthwise - but an extra section on the underside of the shelf tells no secrets. - Beth presents the $20 Challenge For Charity, all about finding the best deals, freebies, and bargains.
