Doll collectors will understand this: I took all of my Native American Barbie collector dolls and displayed them on my china buffet (the equivalent of our mantelpiece) for the fall.

Mattel has issued several beautiful Native dolls over the years, so this is quite a striking display.

You could do the same with your American Girls or porcelain doll collection.

I just posted about a series of posts I'm going to do focusing on easy, inexpensive and totally yummy home canned condiments that are suitable for gifting on their own or bundled with frugal add-ons. I can't decide if the first one up is going to be white wine and sage mustard or perhaps Thai Sweet and Sour dipping sauce..they're both super yummy.

I've also been following the Handmade Holidays posts at Sew Mama Sew - tons of great ideas for all skill levels grouped by potential recipients (babies, teachers, music lovers, etc.).
