I did my whole dining room for about $300, including a new (to me) table and chairs, buffet, etc. I'm self-taught on sanding and staining, and then I'm willing to paint anything. I also like library books. There are lots out there on how to redecorate for little or no money. I just rearranged my living room furniture, mostly to do some spring cleaning, but we ended up leaving it that way. It opens up the space! Also, you can have a second set of bed linens for summer than you do for winter. Change them halfway through the year for a whole new look.
