Exciting summer with more things on beach, – is what I like to do. My children like to every cookies, chocolates, Ice creams and all sweets more…….
TO play with them on beach is just to take them in our heart. Your Ideas of making differing thing to keep summer more hot is so nice to see………

I don’t have kids so I am by no means an expert but about things to do that well don’t involve plastic. Or try getting toys from the thrift store or a neighborhood toy swap.

Try entertaining them without things. Kids can help garden or “hunt” various bugs and insects and if they need some motivation you can set it up kind of like a treasure hunt or a contest.

Just some thoughts.

I love an ice crusher. We live in Texas so you know it gets very hot. I have grand children and day care children here with me 5 days a week. I keep ice ready to crush and we use it in lots of ways. Sometimes we even throw it at each other like snow.
Also keep picnic supplies ready in a REAL picnic basket. We load up the wagon and walk to the park for a real picnic in the park.

Don’t forget the first-aid kit! When summer approaches I take mine out of the car, make sure everything is up-to-date and filled. I also put a plastic bag filled with band-aids of several sizes, antibiotic ointment, alcohol prep pads and tweezers in our beach/pool bag.

then popsicles, bubbles, balls, jump ropes, pool, ride-on toys/bikes, slip-n-slide, etc…anything with water really.

When it gets too hot we find free places to go and play inside, crafts, playdough, workbooks, and we participate in a summer reading program.

Here in South Texas it gets hot and stays hot, bu our list is much shorter:
squirt guns (fill w/ice water on really hot days!)
bubbles
water balloons
freezer pops
a hose to create “rain” and cool off quickly
a small kiddie pool to keep the little ones cool and for swishing mom’s hot, tired feet

And I plan to fill a spray bottle and keep it in the fridge; I’ll pull it out and mist my hair, face and neck frequently on hot days.

Craft ideas and supplies! Sometimes it’s raining or just too hot to play outside. I want to be able to pull something out quickly for my girls to do, instead of wasting time looking for an idea for a project, only to find we’re missing key elements.
