Luckily for my family (both immediate and extended), I consider myself one of these happy people. Thankyou God for the gift of 'serenity'. Yesterday, our children had the day off school. We walked up the street to collect their best friends and had a wonderful day climbing trees, walking the family dog, baking in preparation for a massive Mother's Day celebration & simply enjoying each other's company. If one person on every street in our busy world stopped to read this email what a happier place our earthly home would be.
Luckily for my family (both immediate and extended), I consider myself one of these happy people.

I turn the kids out on the deck in warm weather and watch them from the kitchen table, where I sip on morning coffee or afternoon tea. My kids are with me, and life is peaceful. I really enjoy those moments. We like to hike as a family, and swim in a lake we can walk to from our home. None of these things cost anything, and they are more renewing and healthy for our family than a trip to an amusement park.
