I get really sad when I think how badly I abused the stuff I had growing up. I didn't care for anything of my own and my parents never understood why I was like that. My room was always in shambles, my belongings were never taken care of- maybe because I hadn't paid for any of it?

Now I really care about the things I have. I am surprised how long we are able to maintain things and to make the most of them. It is all about the attitude you have and the investment you have made into your things.
