Saturday Savings Smorgasbord – Frugal Fun!
There's been a lot of buzz in the frugal blogosphere over frugal burnout. We all have those moments and sometimes we just need to step back, take a deep breath, and find some humor in the midst of our dollar-stretching and penny-pinching.
So, to hopefully put a smile on your face today, here's my You Might Be Too Frugal If... list. (And no I haven't done all of those things, but I certainly am guilty of a few of them!)

That was a great list! I think everyone appreciated a little levity after all the heavy discussion!

The last item on the list made me laugh. Last March I shaved my head to help raise $$ for leukaemia research. I’m a secondary teacher, and I knew that the students would give more if a female teacher did it. After it was done I really liked the look of it, so I’ve been clippering my head ever since. The motivating factor is NOT the savings on shampoo, but I have to confess that the money I’m saving has crossed my mind from time to time…..

My depression era Grandpa would save “blinks” on his cars by turning off the turn lights midway through an intersection and his wife would use the elastic of her worn panty hose for larger rubber bands. So, you can see I come by *frugal* genetically!
