Handmade Ornaments With Flair

Well, I hope everyone survived Black Friday this season? I was thinking of each of you as we watched our holiday movies and lounged around the house having our day-after-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner. I hope everyone got great deals and enjoyed some special time with loved ones over the holiday. It was so great to hear from all of you about your shopping techniques and plans for the day. Thank you each for sharing!

This year my son and I are going to be spending some special time together making holiday ornaments. Last week I made a trip to our local dollar store and managed to purchase twenty dollars in supplies to use for our crafts and today I have been spending the day surfing the internet finding a variety of ideas for special ornaments we can make together. I thought it would be fun to share the links with you and I hope that you & your children can spend some time together making ornaments for your tree (or maybe for someone else's tree). We plan to make ornaments to give out as gifts and as embellishments to the gifts that we are handing out. I also thought they would make a nice addition to our holiday boxes that we make for our family & friends.

Note: Just as a side note, I am not very crafty AT ALL. Rest assured, if the ornament idea is listed here, the idea is for a beginning crafter. Don't be intimidated by crafting and allow your inner-child to peek through for a day with your kids. You won't be disappointed!

What a great round up!

I love the way you arranged all the supplies in one easy-to-handle box. What kid wouldn’t be thrilled at the sight of all that!
