Giveaway: choose a book

Posted by: kimc on Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

fallyall.jpgYou're frugal people, right? Who wants a free book?

I have acquired some extra credits for books from Paperback Swap, and I want to share. Here's the plan:

  1. You go visit the Paperback Swap site. Browse the available books (over 1.6 million!) and choose the title you would like to win. Make sure it's available, and not just a wished-for title. It should have an Order This Book button next to it.
  2. Come back and tell me your choice in a comment on this post.
  3. On Friday evening, I'll choose a winner who will receive his/her choice for free, shipped directly to their door. If your choice is no longer available, you will be able to choose another.

There's just one tiny catch: the winner must tell me promptly when they receive the book so that I can give the sender credit. That's how PBS works.

And a confession is in order: I'm hoping y'all will think that Paperback Swap is so amazingly frugal and ingenious that you will decide to join and you'll get free books, and I'll get free book credits for referring you. Then I can give away more free books, because giveaways are fun - especially when I can giveaway stuff that's free to me!

Do you enjoy giveaways? Check out the 2 giveaways running on my family blog, Life In A Shoe!
