That is so funny that you bring that up because my mother-in-law gave me a beautiful one that I really loved, but didn't know what to do with.

I happened to be flipping through an old issue of Real Simple and they gave ideas for uses for the soup tureen.

I now have it sitting on my counter filled with our fruit for the week.

One of their other ideas was to use it to put a flower arrangement in. Soak the foam and fill it with short flowers. It was really beautiful.

I bet a china tureen would look really elegant!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Hmmm, maybe a soup dinner would be a good excuse to use that soup tureen that came with my china set. Who on earth ever uses such a thing these days.

I have yet to try making rolls with bread machine dough, so I appreciate the buttery roll recipe!

We are planning to take lunch to a group of my husband's colleagues. A crockpot and a basket of hot rolls sounds like a very portable meal to leave in the conference room.

Thanks!
