Saturday Savings Smorgasbord – The Coupon Edition #2

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Last week I talked about how much money coupons could save you, especially if you shop at CVS. I mean, where else can you get deals like this? Or get paid to buy diapers?

However, if you don't have a CVS, don't despair!

Take Walgreens, for instance. You can cart off a boatload of stuff there this next week for pennies on the dollars.

Or Safeway.

Or Pavilions.

Or Albertsons.

And that's just a drop in the bucket...

Do you see how exciting this can be? Not only can you save your family hundreds of dollars every month, but you can have a great time doing it, too! Best of all, you can stay within your budget and have plenty of groceries and household products to share with others.

Who needs a hobby when there are coupons?

My Walgreens doesn’t know anything about the programs you write about. Does that sound possible, or do you think I should try to be a bit pushier and encourage them to get with the program?

Kim, since the deals are nationwide, they should work, regardless of what your Walgreens does or doesn’t know. Do they have a catalina machine (the little machine that prints the register tape looking coupons with red borders?)? If so, they should print RR’s.

And the rebate program (EasySaver catalog) is nationwide, too.

And you can stack in-ad coupons and manu. coupons. That is Walgreen’s national store policy.

I checked the San Antonio Walgreens ad (not sure which one you shop at, but I knew that was somewhat close) and it is exactly the same as mine with all the deals advertised. If they don’t know anything about it, you can be the first to educate them.

The good news is, if they don’t know anything about it, you probably have no one else there shopping the deals either. So no competition to getting the items before they are out of stock. ;)

With so many girls, you should definitely check out the Herbal Essence shampoo deal this week (see my blog for details).

If you need any help with anything, feel free to ask!
