I am a Christian homeschooling mom of 8. By day I live In A Shoe, but by night I moonlight here at Frugal Hacks. I love to blog, I love to save money and hey, I didn't have enough to do already.
A few things about me:
- I am the oldest of 14 children. Can you spot our mom in the photo?
- I have 7 redheaded siblings.
- I was homeschooled for most of my education, beginning in the early '80's.
- I was engaged to my childhood sweetheart at the age of 17 and married at 19.
- He is a preacher's kid.
- So far, we have had all of our children at home.
- We will have as many children as God give us.
- We drive the obligatory 15 passenger van.
- We had 7 daughters in a row before our son was born.
- We're hoping for more children.
- We homeschool our children.
- I have big feet. No, I'm not telling my size.
- I am a math whiz. At least, I was a math whiz when I was 10.
- I love to be surrounded by books, even though I don't make time to read as much as I would like.
- I love my computer. I think I love it too much.
- I know how to do a brake job - disc brakes only.
- I am terrified of bloodsuckers that attach themselves. Ticks and leaches come to mind immediately.
- I'm ok with mice, scorpions, tarantulas, snakes, etc. Just keep the ticks away from me.
- I love chocolate.
- And dark chocolate.
- And chocolate ice cream.
